PDMS: 3D Modeling of Oil and Gas Facilities
PDMS is the Vantage Plant Design 3D modeling application.
It is a definitive 3D design and visualization solution
which enables plant design personnel of various
disciplines work actively together to eliminate possible
structural interference, check safety and operationality
issues during the design phase thus ensuring easy
maintenance of facilities whilst taking cognizance of any
human factors. This course is designed to provide an
understanding of PDMS for 3D Modeling and its application
in Oil and Gas facilities. 3D modeling technology will be
introduced using PDMS. The participant will be trained to
appreciate the use of PDMS in developing Structural,
Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation components as an
introduction to the necessary skills to optimize PDMS in
the detailed Engineering of Oil and Gas facilities.
For Whom:
3D Modelers involved in Piping, Civil, Structural,
Mechanical, Vessels, Electrical and Instrumentation
Drafting and Detailing.

AutoCAD: 2D Drafting of Oil and Gas Facilities
This course will provide participants with a comprehensive
understanding of the application of state-of-the–art 2D
modeling Engineering Drafting application for the issuance
of quality deliverables in the Design of Oil and Gas
facilities. Each participant is given the opportunity to
develop at least one project specific deliverable during
the Training Programme.
For Whom:
Design Engineers involved in Process, Piping, Civil,
Structural, Mechanical, Vessels, Electrical and
Instrumentation Drafting and Detailing.

Document Controls & Management for Automated Design
Offices
Efficient and effective management of engineering
documents and other forms of data on a project are central
to sustenance of project schedule and avoidance of
unnecessary cost growth. It therefore follows that this
aspect of engineering design practice and project
management is perfectly planned, appropriately resourced
and effectively executed. This 10-day programme is
packaged to equip would-be document controllers (in an
engineering design environment) with all the skills they
require to manage quality documents (project deliverables)
generated by the project team.
For Whom:
Would-be Document Control Engineers, Lead Engineers,
Project Engineers and Design Engineers.

Document Controls & Management for Issuance of Quality
AutoCAD Deliverables
This course will provide participants with the necessary
information required to develop quality Engineering
deliverables (Schematic and Scaled) on a live project.
Emphasis is laid on the Client’s specification and the
state-of-the-art capabilities of the latest version of
AutoCAD. Generation of documents for easy identification,
archival, transmission and retrieval within an integrated
project team, which spans across remote geographical
locations is covered. Participants shall undergo practical
sessions, case studies and syndicate group discussions to
covering Oil and Gas Design activities.
For Whom:
Design Engineers and 2D Drafters involved in Process,
Piping, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Vessels, Electrical
and Instrumentation.
