OUR TRACK RECORD

In 1992, in the area of Computer-Aided-Design and Draughting (CADD) LONADEK took over the training of 67 indigenous Engineers from BECHTEL Inc. and within three months prepared NNPC Engineers for the executions of the CHEVRON Escravos Gas Project (Phase I). On this project our Principal Consultant, Dr. A. I. Onadeko-Amao ensured that all milestones set in Houston, Texas were met.

We provided 3D Modelling the training of 150 and 320 NNPC/PTDF indigenous Engineers in 2006 and 2007 respectively using AVEVA’s Plant Design Management Software (PDMS).

To date, over 1120 NNPC/PTDF indigenous Engineers have passed through our training modules and we now pride ourselves with our past trainees placed and qualified engaged in responsible positions across the country in various NNPC Joint Venture (JV) organizations and overseas.

LONADEK has since 1992 produced technical/specialized survey reports and proposals for multi-million dollar projects overseen by NAPIMS for MOBIL Producing Unlimited, CHEVRON and other Joint Venture (JV) partners.

Since 1992 we have set-up, provided services or managed Fully Automated Design Offices with applications for following indigenous companies.

NEWS & PUBLICATIONS

NIGERIAN CONTENT

It is becoming increasingly obvious that the Nigerian Government is keen to ensure that local content/indigenous participation becomes a reality in the execution of Oil and Gas Projects. The Government is also keen to ensure that foreign companies are active and represented by visible infrastructure, which demonstrate their commitment to development in Nigeria.

LOCAL CONTENT IMPLEMENTATION PLAN – COLLABORATION, COOPERATION AND COORDINATION

There is a need to understand clearly the requirement by the Nigerian Government for the collaboration between Nigerians and foreigners who are jointly engaged in the execution of work in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry. The necessary framework for developing ”High-value” centers in Nigeria to serve as a business hub of activities for Africa shall be formulated through this policy is fundamental.

As a guideline for collaboration, cooperation and coordination, three key issues must be discussed and a common understanding agreed for documentation and endorsement by signatories of the collaborating bodies. This is to ensure commitment and acceptance of an undertaking with responsibilities for each party in the execution of Projects in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
