Since 1956, AACE International has provided its members with the resources they need to enhance their performance and ensure continued growth and success. AACE International - Promoting the Planning and Management of Cost and Schedule for effective Project Management.
This course will adequately prepare participants to sit for all 5 of the PMI credentials- CAPM, PMI-SP, PMI-RP, PMP and PgMP PLUS the 5 AACE certifications- CCT, CEP, PSP, EVP and CCC/E. Participants will be sufficiently prepared to pass a total of up to 10 professional level, globally recognized certifications all included in 1 Exam.
It will involve 264 hours of formal class-room and distance learning in 6 months to be completed within 180 working days of studies:

Graduate Level Programme (Equivalent of 2 Semesters)
Distance Mode program designed to prepare career path professionals in Project or Program Management to earn their Certified Cost Consultant/Cost Engineer (CCC/E) and/or related credentials.
It is conducted using a "hands on" workshop curriculum, intended to translate the concepts, principles and theories described by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering as "Recommended Practices" into "real life" application.
The objective of this program is to leave the participants with enough knowledge to implement Project Control, Monitoring and Evaluation Tools, Techniques and Methods appropriate to the needs and maturity of the organization, in a manner that will ensure survival in competitive markets, by looking at fully integrated Portfolio, Program and Project Management. This is a highly technical course, designed for experienced practitioners wishing to become credentialed as Certified Cost Consultants/Cost Engineers. (Heavy focus on Engineering Economics)
Who Should Attend?
Senior Project Managers, Functional Managers, Internal Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Key Vendors and Project Team Members, especially those involved in Capital Budgeting, Portfolio, Program or Project Management, Project Cost Estimating, Resource Allocation/Optimization, Productivity Analysis or Business Case Analysis.
Prerequisites
Requires – 8 years of EXPERIENCE in Management. Demonstrated experience in running or using Primavera, Artemis, Microsoft Project or similar Project Management Software would be highly beneficial but not absolutely necessary.

Applied Project Estimating and Control- Learn the concepts, theories, methodology, tools and techniques through Portfolio, Program and Project Management; How to integrate the theories of Total Cost Management (TCM)- Develop a practical understanding of TCM as it applies to your specific industry. (All courses will use actual examples from your sector) Provide a means to "bridge the gap" from the THEORY to real life IMPLEMENTATION.

- Calculate the TRUE cost of project activities, including the overhead and cost of money;
- Prepare accurate Preliminary, Budget and Definitive Cost Estimates;
- Creation of fully cost and resource loaded schedules;
- Perform Value Analysis on your projects
- Understanding and Applying Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Understanding Activity Based Costing (ABC) and Activity Based Management (ABM)
- Using EVM, ABC and ABM as tools to enhance competitive advantage;
- Apply Total Cost Management Principles, Practices and Methodologies to Project Management;
- Perform Economic and Business Case Analysis and Assessments;
- Integration of Portfolio, (Assets) Program (Operations) and
- Project (Portfolio) Management;
